In reading in fiction the drinking has always been fine to me personally, but not the smoking- mainly because of me being asthmatic, can't stand it in real life or even in fiction either it seems.

Each to their own Supersonic, personally I think that both ways (caring and not caring) are a turn on, and it just so happens that in this particular story the girl in question doesn't care about the child growing inside of her, and more about how she can use it to enhance her sexual prowess.
